Where do you find classic films?

Unread post by Coop68 » Wed Jun 27, 2018 1:54 am

Hello all,

I'm new to this forum, and I registered because I'm on a mission to find a copy of Gary Cooper's 1930 film "Only the Brave." I've searched around the internet, but I'm unable to find it. I'm also unable to buy it (There is one person selling a copy on eBay, but it is incredibly low quality and not even worth watching. I bought a copy, so I know.) online.

Where might I go about finding this film? I've tried contacting Paramount Pictures, but I doubt they're going to give me much information.

Does anyone here have a copy?

Thank you in advance for your help.

If ioffer is still around? ioffer lists this dvd available for $ 12.75. It looks different than the poor image quality version on ebay for $9.95.

Are you able to turn that film into an electronic version? If so, I'd be incredibly grateful if you could send me that video.

That film was the hit of Cinecon about 10 years ago. I'd love to have a print of that one myself.

FYI, so we can't talk about copying copyrighted material on the board here. You can inquire abut the existence and location of things, and you can trade legal copies, but if there were discussion of obtaining them otherwise, it would need to happen off the public board. More here.
“I'm in favor of plagiarism. If we are to create a new Renaissance, the government should encourage plagiarism. When convinced that someone is a true plagiarist, we should immediately award them the Legion of Honor.” —Jean Renoir
