On the occasion of Lon's 134th birthday, I find myself wondering about the footage from (perhaps) his first known appearance in 1913's POOR JAKE'S DEMISE that was supposed to have been found a few years ago. When will this footage be available to see?

Ok, that's really eerie. In celebration of his birthday, so far today I've watched By the Sun's Rays and The Penalty. I wandered on here and actually found my post from ages ago about 'Jake.' You'd think for being one of the biggest stars of the silent era, this would have been released ages ago or at least placed on Youtube -- especially since it seems like the entire film was found!! Very strange this didn't make more headlines / more wasn't done to show the film to the masses.
