Don't know about the first image, but that's Ross Alexander with the electric trains.

That would make sense. The Initials are R. A. in the bottom of the photo. Thank you very much. Now if someone can come up with the first one. We shall see... :D

Nothing AM fits. It's not Adele Mara, Agnes Moorehead, Aline MacMahon, Ann Miller, Anna Magnani, Ann Margret, or Andra Martin.

Don't know what is "AM-38-12", but actress on photo is Varvara Myasnikova as Anka in famous Soviet movie "Chapayev" (1934)

AM-38-12 is a still code, which studios used to identify their films. Each did it differently; some used just numbers, some letters, etc. Most still codes for individuals have their initials, but Paramount gave each person their own number with a P in front of it.

In this case, AM- is the standard still prefix for Amkino, who released the movie in the US.
